Water use in the model can currently be optimized in one of 2 ways: 1) to minimize costs across supply type given constant demands, or 2) to maximize revenues across demand sectors given constant supply. Future versions of AWASH will allow for iterated optimization convergence and optimal siting of infrastructure.
